Small “colour sketches” and “paper sculptures” are explorations in colour theory, form, and spatial relationships. I’m inspired by colours, and each piece is created by playing with the placement of colour and how it sits in space.

A background in architecture has influenced how I approach these compositions—how elements are arranged, how they relate to one another, and how they interact. I’m interested in the spaces that emerge through these relationships.

My process is minimal and meditative: paper is painted, cut, glued, layered, placed, moved, assembled, and rearranged. Layers of different mediums are added and adjusted—back and forth—responding to what unfolds through a balance of intention and intuition.
